Introducing Our Averted Plastic Line
Over the past year, Oceanworks has seen a tremendous response to our extensive and growing ocean plastic offerings. As brands learned that stopping ocean plastic starts far from the coastline, we have seen growing demand for non-ocean PCR. Ocean plastic is core to our foundation, but it has become clear that there is an opportunity and need to look further upstream. Oceanworks’ new Averted plastic product line is derived from mismanaged plastic waste collected more than 50 kilometers from the coastline. Customers still get the track-and-trace, material storytelling, quality, and reliability that they have come to know and trust from Oceanworks Guaranteed materials. This new product line allows us to more fully address the plastic pollution issue and provides further choice for customers as we welcome thousands of new suppliers on our platform.
